What Happened
Meta made its Muse personal AI agent available in Singapore on October 27, 2026, after first announcing it globally on September 8. Muse runs on iOS, Android and the muse.ai website and carries out tasks for users. Launch partners include Shopee, Grab, Singapore Airlines, Agoda, ShopBack, Klook, Trip.com and Lazada, with use cases such as comparing prices before buying on Shopee or Lazada, planning groceries and dining through Grab, and exploring travel and reservations.
Meta says Muse asks for confirmation before sensitive actions such as sending an email or making a purchase, and that users choose what it can access. Connector features will roll out gradually. Muse is free for most everyday needs, with subscription plans for more.
Three Steps for Small Businesses
- Keep prices and availability current everywhere. Muse is described as comparing prices before purchases, so outdated or inconsistent prices on your site and listings can lose you the comparison. This is our analysis.
- Make travel, dining and booking details easy to read. Partners cover reservations and ticketing, so clear opening hours, locations and booking links help any agent act on your information. This is our analysis, not a Meta requirement.
- Treat your website as the source of truth. Agents pull from partner platforms and the open web, so your own site should match your listings. Keep it accurate and consistent.
Personal agents are now live in a major Southeast Asian market, with local retail and travel brands as launch partners. Accurate, consistent business information is the cheapest preparation for agent-driven discovery.
This Week’s Step
Compare your website prices, hours and contact details with your marketplace and Google listings, and fix any mismatch.
